and deoderant 3-paks

For a variety of reasons (ok…ONE reason: cheap car insurance) Kev and I joined Costco today. It’s not like there’s one close, we have to haul up to Gwinnet to get to one (Gwinnett is great! The water tower told me so!). So the danger of repeating today isn’t all that great.

What happened today?

I’m not sure, but it cost over $200, if you include the cost of membership.

Also, we’re all set with toilet paper and wheat thins for awhile. A very long while.

And I’ve got 1 out of 6 possible brownie mixes baking in the oven.

And I’ll have plenty of foil to wrap those brownies up in.

*sigh*

Earrings of mass destruction

goofy Kev

Last night despite being sore and exhausted from helping out at my church all day,

aside: Kev has some unexpected…um…let’s call it “temporary free time.” So this week he’s been helping my church get ready for a NO evacuee family to live in some of our spare rooms - evening out the floors and laying down carpet tiles and being just generally handy. Isn’t he great???

Kev was feeling pretty goood. And by good I mean “frisky.” It seems the more tired he is, the more horny he is. So while I was laying half passed out in bed - still sore from my little accident last Tuesday, he was busy trying his best to wake me up. Nibbles on my back, my neck, rubbing down my side. His nibbles got more insistent, to downright gnawing as he moved from my neck to around my ears, when…

Kev: OWWWW!!!!

Me: what?

Kev: your earring! it bit me!

seems that during the aggressive nibble, my earlobe flipped over and the back of my earring scratched down his nose. Oh poor baby…except…

Kev: I think I’m bleeding!

Me: huh? lemme see….HAHAHAHAHAAAA! Looks like a cat got ya!

There’s a big nasty gash down the side of his nose. It took a while to get the bleeding stopped.

Didn’t stop the mood for long, though, so don’t feel TOO badly for him. It does seem that every time he gets a little aggressive with the foreplay, HE’S the one who ends up getting injured!

ps: blogger’s spellcheck wanted to replace “earlobe” with “harelip.” HAHAHAHHAAAA…no.

let’s all take a deep breath

so much pain an anger the past few days! wounds! stolen dairy products! WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END!

how about RIGHT NOW with some nice, calming pictures to share? Lovely!

banana pumpkin bread

I know it’s only JUST fall, and you would NEVER KNOW IT with this stupid hot Atlanta weather, but I just couldn’t resist one of my favorite fall temptations, with a little twist: pumpkin banana bread! mmmmm…very dense and tasty. Too lazy to write out the whole recipe, but I found it here

Satchel

I started my knitty satchel. It’s going VERY quickly! I did most of what you see there tonight - my left hand is ACHING! Not sure if you can make out the colors - the main color is a very light gray and the color stripes are a light lavender.Of course, it never fails…

needs some attention

as soon as I sit down to knit or blog or ANYTHING, Sadie decides she needs some love and attention. Oh well…really…HOW can you ignore that face???

thief!

All I’m craving right now is one of my Thomas bagels, toasted in the breakroom toaster, and then a nice thin layer of cream cheese spread on.

so what’s the problem?

SOMEONE STOLE MY CREAM CHEESE OUT OF THE BREAKROOM FRIDGE!!!

There’s no possible way they could have not known it was mine - my initials were all over it in black sharpie.

I WANT MY CREAM CHEESE BACK MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!

a day of gauze ***update****

blog news

I replaced my “disturbing searches” section on my side bar with an “esc recommends” with some of my fav links. Got a link to suggest? PUT IT ON YOUR OWN BLOG, DAMMIT! no, seriously, just email it to me (CLICK THE EMAIL BUTTON! IT’S RIGHT UP THERE ON THE SIDEBAR! I DESIGNED IT MYSELF AND EVERYTHING!).

Hate my recommendations? I don’t care! :)

this one goes out to all the truly geeky out there

I have a Toshiba e355 Pocket PC which I really like, but I’m not getting as much use out of as I’d hoped. What would REALLY help is an internet connection, but I’m not paying to modem up that sucka. What I WANT is to give wireless capability to it, so I can use it at home, or anywhere I can pick up wifi.

The only pda wifi card I can find out there is a Sandisk…which happens to NOT be compatable with the e355 model. bitches.

My idea is to purchase a USB adaptor cord, and then get a USB wireless plug. But I’m not sure if there’s Pocket PC software to make that possible. Are there ANY uber-geeks out there that have any solutions? And no, “get another/better pda” is NOT an option! I want to keep this an “under $50″ expense.

Any ideas? If you DON’T know, you don’t have to guess, or whatever. I’m perfectly capable of doing the hours of google searches myself. I’m just being somewhat lazy, and hoping someone out there already figured this shit out.

************UPDATE! WARNING! NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH!******************

I’ve got pics of my stupidity wounds. I’ll post them below, but DON’T LOOK and then BITCH ABOUT “EWWWW, GROSS, WHY DID YOU POST THESE??” If you dont’ want to see them, don’t look!

OK?
