Anyone else find it hilarious that the California cheese council has spent millions of dollars on an ad campaign trying to convince us that their cows are free, happy, and warm, since it never ever snows there, unlike the frozen miserable cows of wisconsin…
And then the governator has his own commercials with his buddies talking about how Cal-ee-forn-eea is a winter wonderland we all need to visit to ski and “shred”?

t-minus two days before I leave for pittsburgh (alone. ALONE! I hate Kev’s boss. I would go into detail, but don’t want Kev to get Dooced by association) and I am in frantic mode. Cleaning and shopping (hey, I don’t have a gift for my mom yet! and I’m not going to get these socks done in time, either!) and running around like a maniac.

OK, I am dying of curiosity here. I’m getting a bunch of hits from a particular thread on a forum called thebatgirls. I THINK this link is to a post from a little over a year ago that was, to my mind, a nothing of interest post. About our washing machine and a sock. I can’t think of any reason that ANYONE would be interested in looking at this post - unless they had a too-narrow sock fetish. (btw: I frogged that sock and started over with more stitches around).
