My hairstylist (shoutout!  Alana!  Best stylist in town.  Semi-official stylist of Atlanta knitters!  well, some of them!) and I decided to move away from the Spiky Fun Hair and instead move to more of a Cute Professional Yet Easily Mussed for Sexy Fun Look.  I’m liking it!

Birthday of MEATY GOODNESS

OK,  today has kicked my ass completely, mostly in the form of The Perfect Storm of lady-afflictions, which I can blame solely on being on antibiotics for the past week.  And while I was singing augmenten’s praises a few days ago, as the swelling and redness disappear from my leperfoot, today I curse it bitterly. foot loose and fancy free

eagerly anticipated leprosy update: it’s not leprosy, as those of you who follow me on twitter already know.  It’s cellulitis - which is a fancy way of saying “some kind of skin infection.”  The doc prescribed me a hefty antibiotic (horse pills!  who takes these pills?  giants!  they are giant pills!) and told me to come back in a week if it hadn’t improved. smellypost

the smelt experiment: 2/3 successful.  I breaded them in a mix of bread crumbs, parm cheese, chopped garlic, and parsley.  Kev liked them.  Sadie liked them.  I…um…tolerated them.  And then I fed the last two on my plate to Sadie.  They are too funky tasting for me.  And funky smelling.   I will have to experiment with a DIFFERENT fish next time.
