pool plan itinerary

3:30 – realize I am hot and sticky and miserable, and come to the conclusion that I can be just as easly hot and sticky by the pool.

3:31 – change into bathing suit

3:35 – where is my pool bag?

3:39 – there it is, begin applying sunscreen found in pool bag

3:42 – hmmm…how do I get sunscreen on my back, by myself?  oh well…

3:45 – water!  I should fill a bottle of water.

3:47 – where is my book?

3:55 – ok, book, water, keys, two towels, more sunscreen, should I take my ipod?  nah.

3:56 – sonofabitch, did it just get CLOUDY?  are those STORM CLOUDS???

3:58 – FUCK IT, I’m going – walk across parking lot to pool

4:00 – aahhhh…poooollll…..

4:15 – realize I can sit on steps in pool and read and drink water AT THE SAME TIME.  GLORIOUS!

4:20 – *rummmbbbbblllleeee*  umm…probably just a plane, or a loud truck

4:30 – *lightening.*  FINE!  pick up stuff and walk home.  wet.

4:35 – change into dry clothes

4:40 – settle in on rocking char on the balcony with book and water, Sadie at feet, to wait for storm

4:45 – no storm

5:00 – is that the SUN???

goddammit.  I’ll try again tomorrow.
