I wish my kitchen was that tidy… and had room for spices. There looks like there’s lots of spicy stuff, like salsa. My mouth and eyes are watering just looking at this photo.
Mikey - that’s actually the back wall of my dining room - next to the kitchen. there is no room to expand in my kitchen, as it is the size of a mini cooper. no salsa, but plenty of cayenne pepper. and chili powder. and chili flakes
Jamie - those are dog biscuits I bought her during our honeymoon. she LOVES them. that pose in the pics was take 4, because as soon as I would turn around to grab my camera, she’d move her head to get the treats.
Seth - I’m making beef barley soup tonight! everyone should have barley.
Again, great minds think alike!! Boy and I just hung similar shelves in our kitchen (which is the size of a mini cooper).

Kat - are they Ikea? Kev and I are a little mad at Ikea right now, as the swedish don’t seem to grasp American home construction and failed to realize that there are 16″ between wall studs. had they made their shelves 2 inches longer, we wouldn’t have had to cut them down.
TDR - I LOOOOVE my glass rack!!! I have lots of wine and martini glasses now to display!
now all I need is friends to invite over. anyone want to come over for pinot noir and board games? I’ll make soup!

I have plenty of wine glasses (red and white) and champagne flutes, but they’re in my cabinet not on display. Because my kitchen? It has no walls that are not covered by cabinets.
Pino and soup? Hell yeah! I’ll be there Friday. Oh, wait… I’ll be in PA on Friday instead. Dang. I’ll have to take a rain check.
No, the shelves are not Ikea. Love Ikea but there is no store around here. I got ours at Target. They can’t bear much weight but do just fine with the spices we have on them.
