one week to go. here are more things to check off my list
1. reception centerpieces.
I had to make another Michael’s run, but they’re done!
a closeup of one
you can’t really see, but nestled in the middle is a glass votive candle holder.
2. necklace for wedding.
Nanner said she’d make me a wedding necklace a while back. I have been SO EXCITED TO SEE IT!
AND…she dropped it off IN PERSON! I’d like to think I’m the reason she drove all the way down here, but it was really to see her new fav band. But anyway, I got to see Nanner again, she got to meet Kev and Sadie, and she enjoyed some good Mexican food. Then she stressed out completely about getting her BSC necklace ready for the concert. STRESS!
But anyway..here’s the necklace:
want a closer look?
TOUGH! Wait until the wedding. There will be many pictures, I assure you. But it is GORGEOUS and so incredibly detailed. THANK YOU NANNER!!!!
3. wedding programs. Done and DONE! Printed out on the departmental color printer. Here is the pic I put on the back:
I love you, photoshop!
4. cleaned! well, the living room and dining room are clean. So far, the guest bedroom is still a disaster. That is Kev’s domain, and he’d better get cracking, or my maid of honor will have to sleep on the couch thursday night.
But all the furniture is back in place, the rugs are back, and while it’s not “mom” clean, it is CLEANED ENOUGH!
I can’t believe its only one week away. That came up fast, didn’t it? Anyway, good luck! Don’t trip over your train.
Dude… who is your hot blonde friend?
Yay! Wedding!
Hey, wait a minute! WHERE was the bachelorette party? Hmmmmm? I think there was some drunken debauchery that we missed????
TJ - oh thanks so much for putting THAT FUN WORRY INTO MY BRAIN!!!
Scoot - that would be Nanner. Follow the link up there and check her out

Cinn - two friends from work took me out for mexican food and margaritas on friday night. It wasn’t a wild night, but I did get a good bit tipsy and I had a lot of fun.
You will be a beautiful bride! It was so great seeing you again! Loved meeting Kevin and Sadie! Thanks for lunch, girl, I appreciated it.
They are beautiful centerpieces and great fall colors you’ve chosen!
I wish you’d be here in May of next year when I need help putting mine together!!!!
And the necklace is gorgeous too, I’ve got a gal at work here who does beading as a hobby and teaches class in it, she’s working on a necklace and earrings for me as well. I hope it turns out just as nice =)
Bachelorette party in one month and one day!
I see you spent part of the weekend redecorating the blog - way to procrastinate! I also see that leaves went on the program…glad at least part of my suggestion was listened to.
And screw “mom clean.” Mom will just have to accept that your house is not going to be immaculate because hello, wedding and thesis.
my money is on “all” if asked “how many of the centerpieces will be set on fire courtesy of the cleverly hidden votive candle.”
“all of them”
FLOOM!
Those arrangements are incredible! You may pat yourself on the back for a job well done. And Nanner is amazing as ususal.
Love the new blog look as well, especially the Bride of ESC.
thank you Derek, for adding to my nightmare.
yes I have thought of this. which is why all the flowers are cleverly pointed OUTWARD and nothing is hovering over the candle.
pbbbth!
