Total and utter exhaustion.
During the day: run around, shop, wedding stuff, eat.
Night: pass out like a alcoholic monkey.
Yesterday I bought my “marryin’ shoes” - hooray! they are sparkly and pretty and have a higher heel than I’m used to, but are still comfortable. I will have to wear them around the house for a while to break them in a bit and get used to them. Nothing says high class like a bride who trips on her dress and falls flat on her face during the wedding march.
Today: the shower. and possibly: the tattoo.
updates later.
Must see pictures of it all
You’re much prettier than any drunk monkey I’ve ever seen… or have I seen a drunk monkey? You’ll need a vacation from your weekend.
OH, lord, I did the same thing with the shoes… and let me give you a hint - it’s not so much about breakign THEM in as getting your feet and legs used to wearing heels and “trained”. SO… get a higher pair, that is less comfortable, and wear them the rest of the summer. Trust me. My feet hurt so badly after my wedding I sat on the edge of the jacuzzi tub with only my feet in it, practically in tears. I limped to the bed. I limped the next 3 days.
Next wedding I have - I’m the barefoot bride, I swear.
the shoes are actually very comfortable - I’ve walked around the house in them a bit. Don’t worry - my mom got me a pair of “bride” flip flops, which she SAYS are for the honeymoon, but I think I can sneak them on during the reception.
