without access to my website all day. What did I do? WHAT COULD I DO??? IF I WASN’T OBSESSIVELY REFRESHING MY SITE LOOKING FOR NEW COMMENTS???
I painted. Our entranceway.
“But ESC, didn’t you paint your entranceway not too long ago??”
Well, yes. Yes we did. We put up one coat of paint on the walls and ignored the trim and figured we’d do the rest soon. Soon just happened to be…uhhh…a year and a half later.
Shut up.
Today as I stared at the “Page not available” screen in all its horrible whiteness, I was suddently OVERCOME with a need to never have to stare at splotchy uneven walls again OR dirty baseboards. At least, not as I enter our home. The rest of the condo…I’ll get to that later.
*Makes plans for June of ‘09*
So I painted and then hung all the goodies on the walls that I’d bought errr…over a year ago. At Ikea.
OK, well, the mirror is not new. But it’s going to be a relief to make sure my hair is PERFECT now before I go out the door for my very important errands and stuff.
And while I was doing all this, I managed to do laundry AND make a dinner consisting of grilled leg of lamb, tzatziki (homemade), hummus (also homemade), feta, and veggies - all served in a warmed flatbread. Mmmm…greek…
I am a fucking superhero today! I COULD CHANGE THE WORLD! I COULD END HUNGER! I COULD…
hey, my website’s back up! sweet.
That’s great! It looks really nice. I was happy to see Sadie back on CPA.
Looks great, and we have those same hooks (ikea right?). Don’t suppose you want to come a paint my nursery now that you’re on a roll do you?
I blame all my overly productive days on the lack on the internet too!
I really like your choice of color.
Um, can I come over for supper? I’ve been craving Greek food something fierce lately.
P.S. The entry way looks swell!
Nice! One of these days, I’ll get motivated and hang stuff on my walls. However, I DID clean out the attic today. Whee!
Love the color choice, it looks very pretty!
I’m guessing you painted the walls to tested out the color of your next blog template.
Care to share your hummus recipe?

Admit it, you wrote the Sweetie note on the board not for Kev’s benefit, but for the benefit of the interwebs.
