I’ve mentioned before that I am allergic to nuts, but have I mentioned I’m also allergic to bivalves? Clams, oysters, mussels, and scallops. About two hours after eating them, I get violently sick to my stomach. Because of the symptom delay, it only took me 24 years for me to figure out what was going on.

Wow. 24 years you say? Not to bright, hey?
((ducks and runs as ESC throws her shoe…))
Pft. I can count on one hand the number of times I was exposed to them growing up. I didn’t like ANY seafood until I got older, so my parents never made any at home. My dad would on occasion order scallops when we ate out for dinner, and sometimes I would ask to try one. I didn’t like the texture, but I always wanted to try. That night, I’d throw up. We blamed it on the the excitement of a long night out, or a bad batch of spaghetti. Then there was the infamous clam chowder incident at Disney World in ‘83.
It took a plate of steamed mussels during a lab lunch out to tie it all together.
SO SHOVE IT, OK?
Damn, you are insane.
I threw up once (ONCE) after eating oatmeal and NEVER AGAIN.
