cable problems! and the comcast guy on the phone was WAY too cheerful about it.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics…

    On the cable front…last year we had Comcast. I paid my bill (like I always do) and then mysteriously one day *poof* out went my cable and my internet. I called them up “you didn’t pay your bill!” Uhh..yea I did.

    So long story short…. 2 WEEKS with no cable (because I wasn’t going to pay twice) and they FINALLY find what happened to my payment. It seems they posted it to the wrong account. Back on comes cable, just in time for another billing cycle. What did I see on my bill? Oh not only a reactivation charge for turning my cable/internet back on but also they charged me for service that they were blocking for those 2 weeks! Their reply: “Well, we were still pumping signal to your house we had just blocked the boxes/modem”. After fighting with them for a week they refused to budge on those fees so I told them where to shove their service.

    So now I have DirecTV and DSL. *nod*
