I updated wordpress! Yeah, I know you care. So to entertain you, here’s an email conversation I had recently with Grace.
We were discussing updating wordpress to the new version.
Grace: Friday night we’re going to the zoo to see the zoo-lights so I doubt I’ll get to work on it then.
ESC: zoo-lights! in alabama! what, do they string lights over some possums? 
Grace: Yes. And some chickens.
ESC: Take pictures.
Grace: Planning on it.

And wouldn’t you know I forgot my camera! Sadly, there was no possum, but they did have a groundhog. And yes, our zoo has chickens - but they’re in the petting zoo, so I think that makes it only *slightly* redneck.

The Brooklyn Zoo has cows and goats. Because we live in the city and our children wouldn’t know what they looked like otherwise. I *think* that’s the reasoning.
New WordPress has me discombobulated. I will get used to it, but for right now…confused.
Happy belated birthday. Chickens freak me out man. They were everywhere in Hawaii. And not fried or cordon bleu but living and walking and pecking and having violent sex with each other.
