Do you BELIEVE this? It’s MARCH, people! And this is ATLANTA!!! If I wanted snow in march, I would have stayed in Pittsburgh.
We got two or three inches total, much of which eventually turned to slush and then promptly froze into solid sheets of death all over the roads. I can’t wait for the monday commute – already emailed my manager and told her I’d likely be late. JOY!
Once I saw the snow and heard the thunder (yes! thunder!!!) I decided to stay in (not too hard, since I’d had a late LATE night at Sandy’s house watching godfather movies and gorging on italian nibbles), drink hot tea, and ply my handspun yarn. Perfectly lovely. Now the snow needs to go away so I can start enjoying SPRING!

We didn’t get any thunder with our snow. Thunder was on Friday with the storms that tried to blow the house down.
Pretty picture! I’m glad I didn’t have to go out early, because I almost slipped and fell to my death in the driveway at noon. It’s all melted now, thank goodness.
We didn’t get ANY snow – can you believe that?!?!
This is just Global Warming running a muck!
This is what I love about weather in the South. Tiny snow storm on Sunday, snow day on Monday, 75 degrees on Saturday. Hooray for crazy weather shifts! Thanks Global Warming!
@Softballdude – Actually, it’s just typical Southern weather.
