one more work related rant: Old lady? You asked me if we had any black capri pants. Oh MAN do we have black capris. In every fabric and fit imaginable. Yet every rack I pointed you to, you turned your nose up at. You asked for them to be “stretchy.” I showed you 3 kinds of stretchy. No go. Did you really want black capris? Or were you just trying to be a bitch?

shoe update: the sandals I’m keeping, though I’m breaking them in slowly, as the straps are a little snug. Leather will stretch. The mary janes will probably go back, unless any of you would like some pomegranate mary janes, size 41? Pic here.

Kev: so…the guys at work and I have a question for you. About genetics. *smirk*

ESC: oh geez, here we go….WHAT?

Kev: ummm…never mind.

ESC: no, come on, I know it’s probably perverted, spit it out.

Kev: OK so…is it possible to be identical cousins? *snerk*

ESC: like, to be twins and also cousins?

Kev: yeah, something like that. like maybe through inbreeding, or something?

ESC: hmmmmm…OH WAIT, I GOT IT…KIND OF!

Kev: what?

ESC: OK, you know that fraternal twins are formed from two different eggs and two different sperm? Well, I don’t know how common this would be*, but I suppose a woman could have sex with a man while she’s double ovulating, and his sperm can fertilize one egg. And then she could go off and have sex with his brother…err…or her brother I guess…ew…and he could fertilize the other egg. And THEN you’d have fraternal twins that are also cousin. No guarantee of being identical, though. Unless the brothers were twins themselves..hmmmm…

* More common than I thought, apparently. A google search led me to a couple links that are very interesting. HUH! You can be pregnant once and still have two baby daddies! CLASSY! That makes the paternity testing on Maury THAT MUCH MORE FUN!
