can’t talk…

…baking!

Getting a pumpkin cheesecake (aside note: every time…and I mean EVERY TIME I try to type “pumpkin” I instead type “pumpking.” IT’S THE KING OF PUMPS!) ready for our thanksgiving in ‘bama. I was supposed to do more today…but…well…hey. I didn’t. So now tonight I’m scrambling a bit trying to get things ready. Tomorrow I have to drive up to Duluth to pick up our turducken, exchange the crap decalf TJ’s coffee I accidentally bought instead of regular, mix the stuffing ingredients together (sausage, apple, and cranberry stuffing mix already cooked, will combine with bread cubes before transport), pack up the car, and be READY TO GO by 8pm, when Kev will get home, get into my car, and ZOOM! Off to the boonies! Where internet connection is shaky and dial-uppy (don’t worry, you’ll get posts…posts from…THE ETHER!!!), and dogs run free. Kev will be bringing his guns, including his second Browning, which he just bought SPECIFICALLY to mount the Red Dot scope I bought him 3 years ago for christmas. How’s that for an excuse? Anyway, expect pictures of me relearning how to shoot and Kev and my BiL ducking for cover.
