I just found out that the lab goddess, the day to day leader of my old lab, the woman who trained most of us, including me…
has just been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. It has spread to her lung and bones. She’s considered to be terminal.
She is only in her 40′s. And has middle school aged son.
I am in total shock.
Oof. I don’t know how to absorb this. Are you ok? I’m so sorry, Noodle.
I’ll send my prayers out for all her family and friends, including you.
Talk about unexpected, extremely hard news. Will keep her in my thoughts….
