I got lots of compliments afterwards. See, usually there are two speakers per seminar, so you only get 20 to 25 minutes to talk. That doesn't leave a whole lot of time for in depth background information and explanations. But today...I was the only one talking. So I took full advantaged, and everyone appreciated that I was able to give better explanations of how our assay system worked, and how I got the data... Plus I got a few laughs. At one point during the background explanation, I said that one consequence of failure to maintain genomic stability was passing on of a mutation to offspring. and I showed a picture of <a href="http://images.google.com/images?q=x-men, storm&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&sa=N&tab=wi" rel="nofollow">Storm</a>. There was so much lightning I thought I was in a friggin disco for a couple hours. At least I didn't have to give OR attend a seminar.
